Does Climate Change affect insects?
Bumblebees being crushed by climate change
As the climate changes, plants and animals are on the move. So far, many are redistributing in a similar pattern: As habitat that was once too cold warms up, species are expanding their ranges toward the poles, whereas boundaries closer to the equator have remained more static.
Bumblebees, however, appear to be a disturbing exception, according to a study on this issue.

Diamondback Moth Controls

Are there any controls for Diamondback Moths?
Sterile Diamondback Moths could be the solution for your broccoli, cauliflower and other plants in cabbage family. Sterile Insect Technique is not available yet for Diamondback moths, but there some alternatives control measures.
BT can be used to control larvae stage of this pest and man other insects.
Trichogramma wasps which are egg parasitoids of a large number of insect species including Diamondback moth. T. pretiosum has been show to have good searching and parasitism of this pest on cage experimenters.
