Latin name: Hypoaspis miles

These mites can live without food for weeks and can be easily established in your crop.

Tiny (1 mm.), tan mites that lives on the top layers of soil and soil-less mixes. Feeds on fungus gnats, root mealybugs, sciarid flies, springtails, thrip larva and other soil dwelling insects.




SHIPPED: Adults and immature in shaker bottles of pasteurized peat/bran.




OPTIMUM CONDITIONS: 20-30C (68-80F).

RELEASE RATE: 1L per 100 m. sq. (1,000 ft. sq.) mixed with soil. 1L per 200 m sq. (2,000 ft sq.).

Overwintering Spider Mites
If you have a spider mite put Stratiolaelaps scimitus around the perimeter walls, where the posts are, and where any plumbing comes out. This is where the spider mites are over-Wintering.
