Islandscape Floating Island Ecosystem

Description

Islandscapes are a natural way to achieve clear water in your pond by mimicking a natural peat bog. The plants and beneficial bacteria absorb excess nutrients consumed by algae, thus clearing your pond. Islandscape can be planted with all kinds of plants and even shrubs. Plants thrive in this unique hydroponic environment. Along with your plants, such as native flowers and sedges, you can add driftwood, stones, and even grass. Your floating island provides shade and safety from predators for your fish, frogs, salamander, and turtles too.
Your Islandscape are made of recycled bio-mesh bonded to buoyant foam. They are pesticide and herbicide free, and durable enough to withstand the hard winter freezing. Each island comes with planting media and instruction.
