Clothes Moth Traps

Description

The BioCare Clothes Moth Trap attracts and captures adult male webbing clothes moths (it doesn’t help with case making Clothes Mothes). This trap signals when a damaging infestation is present; it does not control larvae which feeds on clothing. The moth larvae are small, white, and wormlike. Look for silk threads or small, irregular shaped holes on clothing, this damage is extremely difficult to mend. The clothes also might be covered in a fine, white powder, which is the larvae’s excrement. This trap catches webbing clothes moths during their mating season by using a natural pheromone lure. If moths are found in the trap, take immediate measures to control the larvae. Search out damaged fabric and destroy, dry clean, or freeze it in a deep freeze for at least 14 days.
Prevention of Clothes moths: To protect your clothing from clothes moths, store it in a tight fitting plastic containers, cedar chests, or cold storage. You could also use light as a tool to combat clothes moths.
