Hummer Helper

Description

Female hummingbirds like to make their nests with soft and springy material like moss, lichen, and spider webs. In early spring it can be difficult for hummingbirds to find these materials to create a durable nest for their babies.

Hummer Helper Cage and Nesting. Includes a coated metal hanger filled with natural unbleached cotton. Hummer Helper helps take the place of lichen in lining the tiny nests. Note: Goldfinches, titmouse, and other birds also use it! This is the only material proven to be used by Hummingbirds and endorsed by the hummingbird Society.

Be sure to hang out in early April as hummingbirds return early. Helps your feathered friends build a soft home for their family.

Do you want hummingbirds to nest in your yard? Hummingbirds prefer to build their nests from 5 to 15 feet above the ground, so plant shrubs or trees that will meet those heights at maturity.
