Troyer Horizontal Gourd

Description

Troyer Horizontal Gourd with Tunnel Entrance
Featuring Conley II Starling resistant entrance holes.

The Troyer Horizontal Gourd reduces the risk of owl predation, due to its overall length of 14″.  The tunnel is trap-compatible for trapping House Sparrows with the optional Troyer-Haskell Tunnel Trap (THTT).  The extra-wide porch on the gourds give martins a place to lounge in the sun and the inner tunnels now has a traction tread.  Each gourd has an additional perch area with traction on the Tunnel and comes with a pre-drilled 3/8”, front-to-back hanging hole.

Gourds have high occupancy rates, plus reduce the incidence of fallouts and premature fledging.

• A series of molded ribs and a textured pattern on the upper neck permit martins to perch comfortably, and its 14” length keeps martins out of predator reach.
• Starling, raccoon and owl resistant
• An internal traction pad facilitates easy exit for the birds.
• The seamless body is watertight and has four 1/4” drain holes.
• Weighs approximately 24 ounces.
• Troyer gourds have a manufactured hanging tube on top so they can be hung from a straight rod.
• They can also be hung using a wire, with minor modification.
